My good friend Betsy ordered some cookies for a baby shower that was planned for today. I finished them up yesterday morning and received a call from her later that morning. Her sister-in-law, whom the shower was for, went in to labor the night before. We had a good laugh about it, and decided that she could freeze the cookies and bring them to the baby's blessing instead. I am sure the mama isn't complaining - I loved when my baby came 3 weeks early!
