When my friend Kandace asked me to help her decorate a cake for her daughter's birthday I jumped at the chance. Why? Because I have three boys. I never get to do girly cakes! So I happily agreed. Here is the result of our efforts:

It was a fun project and I learned a couple of new things. Number one, don't just shove the barbie into the cake - it WILL crack. Number two, string work survives better if you apply it very last. Lessons learned, on to the next project!
