The second cake I made this past weekend was for a family birthday. It was a super yummy carrot cake with cream cheese frosting:
Lesson learned? Cream cheese frosting isn't the best for decorating. But it sure tastes great!
I made another carrot cake a few months ago for another family birthday (it's that yummy they wanted it again). This one had pecans around the edges instead of just the plain icing:
